RED LION - Kathleen A. “Doody” (Breen) Myers, 67 died on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Wilson H. “Sonny” Myers, Jr. who died on January 17, 2013. The couple had been married for 46 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Samantha McElwee and the Reverend Joseph N. Yorks officiating. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on May 14, 1948 in York, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Miriam A. (Shultz) Breen. Kathy was a homemaker and spent many years as a loving caregiver for many children. Kathy was an active member of Pleasant Grove U. M. Church where she taught Sunday School for over 20 years. Kathy was a Cub Scout Leader and Scout Master of Pack #152 and a member of Red Lion American Legion Auxiliary Unit #543. She loved reading, sitting by the pool and traveling to the beach. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kathy is survived by two sons, Wilson Myers, III and David Myers, both of Red Lion; two daughters, Angela Gibson and her husband, Jeff of York and Krista Confer and her companion, Mike Dellone, Jr. of Windsor; nine grandchildren, Savannah Myers, Thomas Myers, Zachary Seitz, Amber Myers, Alexander Gibson, Kyle Confer, Brittany Huffaker, Julia Gibson and Megan Confer; three great-grandchildren, Brielle Myers, Owen Myers and Ava Gibson; one brother, Michael Breen and his wife, Carla; six sisters, Patricia McCleary and her husband, George, Marsha Smith and her husband, John, Mary Street and her husband, Leon, Maggie Messersmith, Bridget Hahn and her husband, Brian and Barbara Myers and her husband, William; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Delilah. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Myers; and three brothers, Thomas Breen, Daniel Breen and Jeffery Breen.
