Karen M. (Giggey) Price

YORK - Karen M. (Giggey) Price, 77, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Kingston Court Nursing and Rehab of York. She was the wife of the late Gerald John Price. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Mark Fair officiating. Prior to the service there will be a viewing from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Karen’s obituary at HeffnerCare.com. Burial will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Born January 16, 1948 in Munich, Germany, Mrs. Price was a daughter of the late Harold F. and Treva Marie (Heighes) Giggey. Karen was a Homemaker, and the proud founding owner of Captain Bob's Crabs. Mrs. Price was a member of Victory Bible Ministry. She was proud of her kids and her grandchildren and loved playing cards and games with them. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, and writing. Karen was known for her ability to write stories and letters to her family.

Mrs. Price leaves; 7 children; Wanda Price and her partner, Bruce Ebersole, Brenda Price, Sandra Rohrbaugh and her husband, Mark, Daniel Price, Jason Price and his wife, Jenny, David Price and his wife, Jacqueline, and Laura Basso and her husband, Steve; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and her loving sister Lynne Sweeney.
