Karen Maynard

WINDSOR- Karen Maynard, 64, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Yorkview Nursing & Rehabilitation. Services for Karen will be held at a later date. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on October 9, 1957 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Corine (Wilson) Maynard. Karen was a nursing assistant who enjoyed taking care of people throughout her life. Karen loved baking, decorating, cooking, listening to music, watching TV, reading the Bible, studying and attending meetings with Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to have fun. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and pets. Karen is survived by two daughters, Tanya Jones and her husband, Paul Sr. of Windsor and Sharonon Maynard of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, Mercedes (Joshua), Larry, Paul, Jr. (Jonae) and Christopher; three great grandchildren, Kali, Jayden and Ayvah; and life companion, William E.
