Karen M. (Koontz) Rhine

Dover—Karen M. (Koontz) Rhine, 39, died unexpectedly Monday, January 18, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Kenneth R. Rhine III, with whom he was married for 4 years. A celebration of life tribute will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the family's residence, 4441 Beaumont Rd, Dover. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born October 31, 1970 in York, she was the daughter of Jeanne M. (Brillhart) Morris and the late Levere A. Koontz. She was a loving and caring wife and mother to her husband and children. In addition to her husband, Karen is also survived by one son, Zackary R. Snyder of York, one daughter, Brandi M. Snyder of York, two step daughters, Ashley N. and Megan E. Rhine of Maryland, one sister, Wanda J. Henry of York, mother-in-law, Mary Clare Henry and her husband, John of New Freedom, father-in-law, Kenneth R. Rhine Jr, and his wife, Sandra of W. York and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey S. Walton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Ministries, Dover Center, 1836 Industrial Court, Dover, Pa 17315.
