Karen L. Schlotterbeck

YORK- Karen L. Schlotterbeck, 54, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held graveside at 2 PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born December 17, 1961 in Oswego, New York, Karen was the daughter of William Schlotterbeck, Jr. and his companion, Nancy Hall of York and the late Marion Kathleen (Northrup) Schlotterbeck. Karen worked as a packager for many years for Shadowfax. She treasured her Barbie doll collection. Karen was a kind, caring, social person who loved to laugh and hug and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her father, Karen is survived by a brother, Steven Schlotterbeck and his wife Brenda of Gibsonia, PA; three nephews, Nick, Tyler and Austin, and her friends and the staff at Shadowfax.
