BROGUE – Karen J. (Klepper) Hileman, 80, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the home. She was the loving wife of the late MSgt. James E. Hileman, Jr. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, The Rev. Tina M. Melusky officiating. A viewing will be held from 3-5:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Karen and James will be buried together in the veterans section at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born March 3, 1935 in Wardensville, WV, a daughter of the late Norman A. and Virginia O. (Miller) Klepper, she retired from US Postal Service in 1995. Mrs. Hileman was a member of Brogue Lionesses Club, Super Group for military retirees where she had served as Secretary, and Grace Lutheran Church, Red Lion. Karen also spent many years teaching English for York Co. Literacy Council. Mrs. Hileman is survived by a daughter, Rachelle R. and husband Bart Kauffman of Delta; four sons, Rian S. and wife Karen Hileman of Rock Hill, SC, James N. “Pete” Hileman of Inwood, WV, Gregory B. and wife Marianne Hileman of Red Lion, and Perry I. Hileman of Brogue; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, two brothers, Richard Klepper of Nevada and Terry Klepper of Tennessee; and one sister, Iona Klepper of West York. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jared Klepper.
