GLENVILLE - Karen D. (Baublitz) Mull, 65, died at 11:07 pm Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of James K. Mull, Jr. with whom she celebrated a 44th wedding anniversary on October 17, 2016. A celebration of life service will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 28, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with certified celebrant, Betty Frey officiating. Viewings will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday and 1:00 to 2:00 pm Friday at the chapel. Entombment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Mull was born July 19, 1952, in York. She was the daughter of the late Zane and Phyllis (Small) Baublitz. She was a graduate of Eastern High School and worked as a U.S. Postal Clerk for more than 30 years, retiring from the New Freedom office. She was very family oriented and enjoyed the time she spent with her family as well as the time she spent at her beach house in Ocean City, MD. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlepoint, knitting and crocheting, and as her family says, “There really wasn’t much she couldn’t do.” In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Nichole Knisley and husband, Brandon of Spring Grove; her two sons, Trevor Mull of Glen Rock and Brandon Mull of Seven Valleys; five grandchildren, Logan and Delainy McHenry, and Tyler, Connor and Hannah Mull; and her brother, Mark Baublitz of Glen Rock. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403 or to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
