Kam Chuen Chan

YORK- On Saturday, October 13, 2018, Kam Chuen Chan, loving husband and father, passed away at age 69 at his residence. Kam was born on April 11, 1949 in Hong Kong, China to Kin Wah Chan and Tse Kwai Ping. He immigrated to the United States in 1977, and worked in the restaurant business for 30 years as a chef. On June 16, 1985, he married Huoy (Trang) Chan. Together they raised one son, Joseph Chan. Kam was preceded in death by his parents, Kin Wah Chan and Tse Kwai Ping. He is survived by his wife Huoy, his son Joseph and daughter-in-law Elizabeth of Baltimore, MD; his brother Kam Fai Chan of Los Angeles; his sister Yin Mui Chan and brother-in-law S. Y. Lau of Hong Kong; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. No funeral service will be held, but the family will welcome any visitors to their home to pay their respects in the coming week.
