K. Ronald Smeltzer

York – K. Ronald Smeltzer, 79, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He was the husband of Dorothy Schwartz, the couple have been together for 36 years and were married in November 2017. Born on December 18, 1941 in York, he was a son of the late Karl H. and Bertha (Kennedy) Smeltzer. Before his retirement, he was a salesman and sales manager for various Ford dealerships in the area. Ronald was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his golfing buddies every Tuesday. He was a member of the Grandview Country Club, Elks Club and Victory Club. Ronald is survived by two daughters, Shelly Rider and husband, Todd and Tracey Dolmetsch and four grandchildren, Braden, Ashlyn, Logan and Karson. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at New Harmony Presbyterian Cemetery, 2295 Delta Road, Brogue, PA 17309. Officiating will be Certified Celebrant Betty Frey.
