Justin D. Thompson

New Park-Justin D. Thompson, 21, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at his residence in Fawn Township. A celebration of life service will be 2 pm, Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Daniel R. Moore of Guinston Presbyterian Church, officiating. Viewings will be held from 4-6 pm, Saturday, and from 12-2 pm, Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Guinstion United Presbyterian Cemetery. Born September 19, 1989 in York, he was a son of William F. Thompson Jr., and Deborah A. (Filson) Thompson of New Park. He was employed in the dairy department of Kleins Shop Rite in Cardiff, Maryland for the past 2 years. Justin was a 2008 graduate of Kennard-Dale High School, enjoyed snowboarding, playing Xbox and loved his nieces and nephews. Justin is survived by one brother, William F. Thompson, U.S. Air Force, stationed in Charleston, SC, one sister, Deidra K. Thompson, of York, maternal grandfather, David Filson of Felton, paternal grandmother, Wanda Barner of Glen Rock, four nieces, Kaeley, MaKayla, McKenna, Lola, one nephew, Kaiden and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anna E. Filson and paternal grandfather, William F.
