Junietta N. (Falkenstine) Wantz

York—Junietta N. (Falkenstine) Wantz, 90, died Monday, August 13, 2007 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Wantz Sr. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with Pastor Tray H. C. Miller of Christ Community Church in Camp Hill officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Greenmount Cemetery. Mrs. Wantz was born August 21, 1916 in York, the youngest of four girls and the last to pass, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Junietta N. (Myers) Falkenstine. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. A love of hers was making things with her plastic canvas and giving them as gifts. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching old game shows on television. Mrs. Wantz is survived by one son, Paul R. "Sam" Wantz Jr., of York, three daughters, Mary L. Smith and Dorothy I. Lentz both of York and Virginia H. Kehm of Manchester, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Three sisters preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
