June (Wenrich) Moyer

YORK – June (Wenrich) Moyer, 88, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of David B. Moyer to whom she was married for 56 years. Funeral services and burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born May 8, 1924 in Selinsgrove, PA a daughter of the late Roswell E. and Carrie L. (Bingaman) Wenrich, she was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School. Mrs. Moyer had retired from GTE Sylvania and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Shiloh Evangelical Lutheran Church and had volunteered with the American Red Cross. June had also served on the Board of Directors for the Conservation Society of York County.
