June L. (Fillmore) Byrd

RED LION- June L. (Fillmore) Byrd, 93, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gerald R. “Bud” Byrd. Mrs. Byrd was born in Windsor on November 10, 1921, the daughter of the late Clarence and Devoltus (Reichard) Fillmore. She worked in customer service for the former Mailman’s Department Store in York. Mrs. Byrd was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion. She leaves three sons, Galen Byrd and his wife Karen of Sequim, WA; Randy Byrd and his wife Barb of York; and Brady Byrd and his wife Nancy of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Shayne and his wife Lizbeth; and two great grandchildren, Alexa and Nicklas. Burial will be private in Windsor Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements.
