June I. Hoffman

LOCK HAVEN - June I. (Holmes) Hoffman, 93, of Youngdale Road, Lock Haven, died Monday, March 28, 2010 at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit. She was born in Rauchtown on June 19, 1917 a daughter of Edward and Ida Holmes. June was married to Joseph E. Hoffman who dien in 1993. She worked as a teachers aide at the former Penn School and earlier she worked for the Davis restaurant. June was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed animals especially cats. She also enjoyed reading and puzzles. She is survived by two sons LeeRue Hoffman of Henderson, TX and Larry Hoffman at home, also two daughters Jean Watkins of McElhatten and Shirley (Dave) Watkins of Lock Haven. Fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. One sister Edna Simcox of McElhatten. She was preceded in death by two sons LeeRoy and Jerry a daughter Beverly Hoffman and a great-grandson Roy E. Watkins, Jr. The funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M., Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Linnwood Cemetery, McElhatten.
