June E. (Frey) Scantling

YOE - June E. (Frey) Scantling, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Harry C. Scantling, Jr. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, The Rev. Brian Witmer officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Yoe Union Cemetery. Born June 23, 1931 in Yoe a daughter of the late Amos C. and Romaine M. (Bull) Frey, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Scantling was a member of Red Lion Bible Church and had also assisted with the Frey Family Gospel group. June especially enjoyed family gatherings and being around her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Scantling is survived by two daughters, Lindy L. and husband Steven Feeser and Judy M. Scantling both of Dallastown; seven grandchildren, Elissa Taylor, Dr. William Blymire, Jr., Jennifer Carrier, Jason Blymire, Benjamin Blymire, Brandon Blymire, and Gabriel Sherman; six great grandchildren, Josie Carrier, Ciera Hopple, Kira Carrier, Adriana Hopple, Laurel Blymire, and Luke Taylor; five sisters, Duane Gregory and Gail Rauhauser both of Dallastown, Diane Emenheiser and Cindy Brown both of Red Lion, and Shelby Gregory of Manchester; two sister in laws, Lerene Murray of Wrightsville and Grace Frey of Yoe. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Donald Frey; and a sister, Charlene Landis-Ross.
