York—June Annette (Diehl) Fuhrman, 85, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services-South. She was the wife of the late Roger B. Fuhrman. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Friday, December 7, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with her pastor, the Rev. Danny Haas officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-11 AM, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Greenmount Cemetery. Born June 15, 1927 in York, she was a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Anna (Danner) Diehl. She was a loving homemaker for her husband and family. A faithful member of First Assembly of God in York, she was very active in several church organization and committees. She was also a member of Women’s Aglow of York and 1946 graduate of West York High School. Mrs. Fuhrman is survived by two sons, Steven L. Fuhrman and his wife, Cathy of West York and David W. Fuhrman and his wife, Rebecca of Red Lion; four grandchildren, Jessica A. Bahr and husband, Rick, Jennifer A. Beaverson and husband, Eric, Ashley L. Richards and Julie R. Fuhrman; four great grandchildren, Ryan and Joshua Bahr and Caden and Caley Richards; two brothers, James Diehl of York and Richard Diehl of Connecticut and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Harry Diehl and two sisters, Ruth Craumer and Phyllis Poet. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Women’s Aglow of York, C/O Mary Beth Patterson, 3945 Farm Drive, York, Pa 17402.
