Julianna A. Bower

Etters — Julianna A. Bower, 19, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at her residence in Newberry Township. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Monday, March 24, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with the Rev. Carl Ford Peterson officiating. A viewing will be held from 12-2 PM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Emanuel Cemetery. Born July 28, 1994 in Etters, she was the daughter of John A. Bower III and Lois A. (Fink) Summey and her fiancé Mark A. Thompson. She was employed with Sherwin-Williams as a paint specialist. Julianna had a passion for horses and enjoyed the time she spent at Nauvoo and Walk The Line Stables caring for and riding the horses there. She also had a very diverse love of music and was a 2012 graduate of Red Land High School. In addition to her parents Julianna is also survived by three brothers, Nathan A., Daniel A. and Benjamin A. Summey all of Etters, maternal grandparents, Richard E. and Jean E. Fink of Etters; paternal grandmother, Carole A. Bower of Lewisberry; two step sisters, Abigail and Emily Thompson and one nephew, Izek Summey and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John A. Bower, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the Julianna Bower Fund, C/O any Members First Federal Credit Union Branch location. Cemetery: Burial will be Private
