Julia (Klinger) Snyder

YORK - Julia [Klinger] Snyder, 72, died Wednesday July 2, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Stanley S. Snyder. A gathering of friends and family will take place from 12-2:00 PM Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Born June 5, 1936 in Gratz, Dauphin Co., a daughter of the late Allen and Beatrice Klinger, she had worked for the former Bush Miller Co. in York. She was a graduate of Millersburg High School; Past Worthy Matron for The Order of Eastern Star; and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, where she had been a member of the choir. Mrs. Snyder was extremely proud of and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Snyder is survived by three daughters, Pamela A. and husband Paul Lauer, Susan E. Snyder and companion Rodger Troupe, and Leisha G. Kunkel all of York; and four grandchildren, Gregory and Steven Lauer and Emily and Alex Kunkel.
