Judy L. (Antes) Watkins

COLUMBIA CROSS ROADS-Judy L. (Antes) Watkins, 53, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, passed away in her home surrounded be her family on Friday, December 31, 2010 after a nine-year battle with brain tumors. She was the loving wife of Marshall M. Watkins. The couple married February 5, 1977, and had 33 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 10:00AM-12:00PM on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Judy's life will be private and convenience of her family. Judy was born on February 22, 1957, in Blossburg, PA, the daughter of Howard L. and Helen A. (Beck) Antes of Gillett, PA. She was a 1975 graduate of Troy High School. In her younger years, Judy enjoyed bowling and ceramics, and after she started her family she enjoyed baking, cooking, and caring for Marshall and her children. Judy and Marshall worked side by side on the family business, The Trade Winds Dairy Farm. To Judy, family was most important; her granddaughter Kelsi was her pride and joy. Judy was Christian by faith. Judy is survived by her husband Marshall, her parents Howard and Helen, her children Jamie R. Watkins (Matt Watson) and Michael C. Watkins (Hannah I. Snyder), both of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, her granddaughter Kelsi Watson, her siblings: Glenn (DeEtta) Antes of Gillett, PA, Carol Antes (Mickey Zelko) of Elmira, NY, Theresa Antes of Gainesville, FL, and Mark Antes of Gillett, PA, her mother-in-law Joyce Watkins of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Wendell and Becky Watkins and Scott and Kelly Watkins, all of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, and Marsha and Steve Battaglini of Las Vegas, NV, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Judy was preceded in death by her father-in-law Lazzelle Watkins who passed away on October 15, 2009.
