Judy E. (Crone) Howard

DOVER- Judy E. (Crone) Howard, 72, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services- Kingston Court. She was the wife of Ronald L. Howard, Sr. The couple spent 54 years of marriage together. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Dover Bethany Church, 4510 Bull Road, Dover, with her Pastor, The Reverend Sal Buonocore officiating. Viewings will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, and Friday from 10-11 AM at Church prior to the service. Burial will be in Bethany United Methodist Cemetery. Born May 26, 1943 in Dover, Judy was a daughter of the late Wilson and Bessie Crone. She was a wonderful housewife and also worked cleaning other’s houses. Mrs. Howard was a lifelong member of Dover Bethany Church and helped in the preschool class there. She was a devoted grandmother who lived for her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by her entire family. In addition her husband, Ronald, Mrs. Howard is survived by a son, Ronald L. Howard, Jr. and his wife Anita of Dover; three grandchildren, Samantha Howard of Hellam, Timothy Howard and his fiancée Jennifer of Dover, and Allison Howard of Dover; a brother, Richard Crone of Dover; three sisters, Hellen Stonesifer of Dover, Viola Kroft of York, and Anita Lefever and her husband Dave of York, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Howard and several brothers and sisters.
