She was the wife of the late Ronald L. Becker, to whom she was married for 51 years before his passing in 2021.

Born on November 4, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Martin L. Sr. and Arline A. (Gross) Lehr. After high school, Judy furthered her education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, a testament to her pursuit of education and knowledge which she valued deeply. She dedicated herself to a career as a nurse at Wellspan, later retiring from the Visiting Nurses Association. Her compassionate nature and commitment to caring for others shone brightly throughout her professional life.

Throughout her life, she developed a rich tapestry of hobbies and interests that brought immense joy to her and those around her. Judy was especially passionate about spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that her family will forever treasure. Known for her delicious baking, she gained a special reputation for her famous chocolate chip cookies that delighted all who had the pleasure of tasting them. Family gatherings and summer picnics were a highlight for Judy as she loved hosting, sharing hearty meals, and ensuring everyone felt welcomed and loved. Her cooking skills were often admired, and her dishes brought warmth and comfort to many occasions. She also loved worship music, and was constantly singing or humming to herself. As a dedicated prayer warrior, she spent hours and sometimes entire nights interceding for her family, friends, and even strangers. And she could always entertain a crowd with hundreds of humorous stories about her life, her family, her experiences, and herself.

Judy is survived by her sons, David Becker and his wife Dawn, Michael Becker and his wife Sara, John Becker and his wife Kristen, and James H. Becker and his wife Angela.
