YORK Judith M. Baum, 64, of Manchester Twp., died at 11:25 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Rev. Dwayne L. Campbell, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Viewing will be 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Ms. Baum was born May 28, 1943, in York. She was the daughter of Claude and Ruth (Kopp) Baum of York. She was employed as a secretary and office manager with various York area businesses including Pfaltzgraff and also worked as a home health care provider for many years. She was a 1961 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Ms. Baum enjoyed reading and spending time visiting with her friends and family and opened her home as an international host family for the Overbrook School for the Blind. In addition to her parents, Ms. Baum also leaves two sons, Richard E. Heagy and wife, Dawn of Orlando, FL and Ronald L. Baum of York; three grandchildren, Ethan and Morgan Heagy and Joshua Baum; three sisters, Diane Houseman of York, Kathy Davis of Ephrata, and Faye Senft of New Jersey; two brothers, Robert Baum of York and Michael Baum of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God, 2270 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17404.
