Judith A. Mcbrien

FELTON- Judith A. (Beard) McBrien, 68 of Felton, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Gary B. McBrien. The couple celebrated 50 years of marriage November 5, 2006. A celebration of life service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2007 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 161 N. Main St., Red Lion. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is entrusted with the arrangements. Mrs. McBrien was born in Hagerstown, MD on March 11, 1939, a daughter of the late Howard and Floriss (Heabb) Beard. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and continued learning her entire life. Mrs. McBrien was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Red Lion and served with the church group, Call to Care. She served on the Felton Boro Council and was a member of the Felton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. McBrien was a master gardener and an excellent cook. Surviving Mrs. McBrien is her loving husband, Gary; a son, Kent D. McBrien of York, two daughters, Lori D. Fissel of Linglestown and Kelly S. and her husband, Craig Miller of Felton; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; and a brother, Daniel Beard of Needmore, PA. Her sister, Karen precedes her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. John's U.C.C., 161 N.
