Judith A. Judy" Peters

YORK - Judith A. Peters, 67, died early Thursday morning, December 11, 2008, at York Hospital. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Mrs. Peters was born July 13, 1941, in Spring Grove. She was the daughter of the late Earl T. and Doris (Mundis) Altland. She attended William Penn Senior High School and formerly attended St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. She was a waitress for many years working at the Embers Restaurant in York and at the Plant City Holiday Inn while living in Florida. She had also been employed as a seamstress. Mrs. Peters leaves her son, Timothy L. Myers and wife, Betsy of Thomasville; two daughters, Valerie Myers of York and Macey Armpriester and husband, Steve of Red Lion; her sister, Bonnie Olphin of Spring Grove; two grandsons, Timothy L. Myers, Jr. and Travis M. Myers; four nephews; two nieces; and her former husband, Clair S. "Pete" Peters. She was preceded in death by a son, Clifton E. Myers in 1984, and a sister, Marion Stagemyer in 1992. Contributions in Mrs. Peters' memory may be made in care of her family.
