Judith A. (Cummings) Sorensen

ALBA- Judith A. (Cummings) Sorensen, 66, of Alba, PA, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Troy Community Hospital. Judy was born on June 16, 1944 in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Paul C. and Theda B. (White) Cummings, who preceded her in death less than one year ago. Judy was a long-time resident of Alba, and she worked for many years at Paper Magic in Troy, PA. Always focused on her family, much of her time was centered on her grandchildren, who will all miss their Nana greatly. A loving mother and grandmother, Judy is survived by her sons Raymond (Roseanne) Sorensen of Canton, PA and David Sorensen of Greenfield, MA, and her daughters Julia (Chris) Busteed of Charlotte, NC, and Maria Padilla of Canton, PA, as well as ten grandchildren: Randy (Kindra), Amy (Peter), Tia, Sarah, David, Christopher, Aeron, Jason, Jada, and Logan, four great-grandchildren: Dannicka, Landon, Damien, and Jenna, her brothersPaul (Joyce) Cummings, Jr. of Bentley Creek, PA, and Charles Cummings of Indiana, her sister Patricia A. Cummings of Alba, her very special nephew Tony (Krystal) Licari of Alba, her niece Rosanna(Josh) Moret of Tucson, AZ, and great-niece Kylie. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother James N. Cummings who lived in New Jersey. Private services will be held for Judys family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA.
