Juanita T. (Brown) Mcclelland

COLUMBIA CROSSROADS-Juanita T. (Brown) McClelland, age 92 of Columbia Cross Roads, PA went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Troy Community Hospital. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA and again from 10 to 11 AM Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Berrytown Wesleyan Church, on Burt Road, off the Checkerville Road in Berrytown. Her service will follow calling hours at 11 AM with Reverend Andrew J. Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA. Juanita was born February 28, 1916 in East Smithfield, PA daughter of the late Francis and Theresa (Bailey) Brown. She attended area schools and was married to the late Boyd M. McClelland who predeceased her on September 10, 1998. She was a member of the Berrytown Wesleyan Church where she was member of the Wesleyan Missions Society, Women's Christian Temperance Union and taught Sunday School. Juanita also was a 4H Leader. She dedicated her life to caring for her family. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn B. and Betty McClelland of Elmira Heights, NY, Carl F. and Marilyn McClelland of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Lester B. and Laura McClelland of Spencerport, NY, a daughter, Joyce J. Hart, Lewisburg, NC, son-in-law, Harold Adams, Jr. of Elmira, fourteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, Wellman and Gloria Brown of East Smithfield, PA, Warren and Norma Brown of Florida, Wendell and Sue Brown of Florida, sisters, Irene Gunshaw of Lowman, NY, Naomi and Jerry Dumais of MI, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Boyd M. McClelland, daughters, Janice McClelland and Doris Adams, sisters, Charlotte Stanton, Louise Stanton, brothers, Wayne, Walter and Willard Brown, great-granddaughter, Stephanie Schrock.
