Juanita M. 'Nita' Sweeting

WILLIAMSPORT - Master Sgt. Juanita M. Sweeting, Nita, 51, of 2609 W. Fourth St., died on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at her residence. Juanita was born in Williamsport on September 18, 1959, the daughter of Shirley E. (Banks) Sweeting of Williamsport and the late James C. Sweeting, Sr. She had served with the U.S. Airforce proudly for 24 years before retiring in 2002. She had served in Iraq and during Desert Storm. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son; Marcus J. Jones of California, three sisters; Shirley L. Kellem of Houston, TX, Julia A. (Terry) Smith of Milton and Stacy L. (George) Sweeting of Williamsport, one brother; James C. Sweeting, Jr. of Williamsport, her beloved dog Isis and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
