Joyce L. Sullivan

WELLSBURG - Joyce L. (Halstead) Sullivan, Age 63, of Centerville Road Gillett, PA passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Bradford County Manor. Joyce was born June 22, 1948 in Elmira, NY daughter of the late Joseph and Velma (Breese) Halstead. She was a graduate of S.R.U. High School and was married to Dennis Sullivan on June 22, 1968 and celebrated 43 years together. She worked beside her husband Dennis in the office of Central Appliance Service in Elmira Heights for many years. Joyce enjoyed working in her gardens she also found great happiness in cooking and spending time with her loving family. She was a Penn State fan and volunteered her time helping with the Ridgebury Little League. Survivors include her husband Dennis of Gillett, PA, a son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Angie Sullivan of Gillett, daughter, Brandy Robinson of Gillett, three grandchildren, Harley and Cameron Sullivan and Breanne Robinson, brother and sister-in-law, William & Lisa Halstead of Owego, NY, sister and brother-in-law, Joann & Ralph Nichols of Gillett, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Her service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 8 PM with Reverend James Donahoo officiating. Memorial contributions in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Ridgebury Little League, 3179 Bucks Creek Road, Gillett, PA 16925.
