Joyce E. (Staub) Dravk

York—Joyce E. (Staub) Dravk, 77, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys Village. She was the wife of Matthew Dravk Jr., to whom she was married for 37 years. A Funeral Service will be 4PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with Fr. Carl T. Tancredi officiating. A viewing will be held from 2-4PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Born October 19, 1940 in York, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Dorothy (Rheinfried) Staub. She was a 1958 graduate of York Catholic. She was employed with Borg Warner as a business manager for 20 plus years. After her retirement she worked as a florist with Stagemyer’s in York. She also made silk flower arrangements which she sold at craft shows. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dravk is also survived by a son, Daniel P. Chalk and wife, Annette of Ft. Wayne, IN; a daughter, Michelle A. Yost and husband, Danny of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Jason, Julia, Tori, Evan and Caylee; two brothers, Russell “Sonny” Staub of Phoenix, AZ and Ronald Staub of Stewartstown and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Staub. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
