Joyce D. Mase

Joyce D. Mase, age 65, formerly of Renovo, died at Lock Haven Hospital Emergency room on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008. She was born in Renovo on June 10, 1943, daughter of the late William B. Leonard and Glennaire Eckdohl Leonard of Renovo. Joyce was the executive director of the Renovo Y.M.C.A. for many years, a member of Zion Lutheran Church, past chairman and member of the Flaming Foliage Committee, and was a former Boro Council member. She also enjoyed knitting and cross stitching, was very active in the midget baseball league, was a volunteer for the Renovo Ambulance Service, was a columnist for the Renovo Record, and loved spending time with her extended family. Besides her mother, Joyce is survived by Judith Demoss and her children: Tara, Ali, and Erica Demoss and Tracey (Rick) Davenport and their children: Sandy Crocker and Richard and Acacia Davenport. Also surviving are many cousins. Memorial services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church at a later date and the service schedule will be published when completed. Memorials are requested to the Clinton County S.P.C.A., Renovo Area Public Library, or the Clinton County Recreation Center. Maxwell Funeral Home of Renovo is in charge of the arrangements.
