Joyce A. Test

YORK – Joyce A. (Campbell) Test, 82, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jack E. Test with whom she had celebrated 62 years of marriage. A memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born September 1, 1930 in York a daughter of the late Boyd R. and Clara E. (Fitzkee) Campbell, she was a 1948 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mrs. Test had worked at Dentsply Inc., Borg Warner Corp., and retired from Johnson Controls, Inc. She was a member of Yorkshire United Methodist Church where she was active with the Merry Widows Group and the Pacesetters. Joyce enjoyed her “lunch bunch” with her William Penn classmates and attending Red Lion Senior Center. Mrs. Test is survived by two daughters, Linett E. and husband Thomas A. Harleman of York and Sherron A. and husband George R. Whittington of Dillsburg; nine grandchildren, Lori, Scott, Keri, Jason, Emily, Jacob, Brent, Bruce, and Brandy; 16 great grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Anne Bushey of York. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary E. and Boyd Russell Test; and a step grandson, Craig E. Reed.
