DOVER, PA - Joshua Tanner Willow, 35, passed away unexpectedly March 4, 2023 due to a head injury.
He entered this world on February 24, 1988, to parents Michael and Sharon (Mulhollem) Willow, destined to provide lots of laughs while he was here.
Tanner graduated from Dover Area High School in 2006 and attended Shippensburg University. He was owner/proprietor of Willow Property Development LLC, as well as providing sub-contract work for Wheelhouse Mechanical of Mount Joy, which allowed him to travel to various places around the country. Never one to sit still, he was continually involved in construction of some sort, from building birdhouses in his grandfather’s shop when he was little, “reconstructing” a motorcycle as a high school project, to doing a full remodel of Colonial House in York. He loved his family, friends, dog, and fast toys. He was always quick to provide a sarcastic response, but his heart was huge and his smile was contagious.
Left behind to carry on his legacy, along with his parents, are sister, Ashley Renelt (Adam) and nephew Laken of Sioux Falls, SD; grandfather, G. Homer Mulhollem of Clearfield, PA; uncle, Dr. Timothy Mulhollem of New Bloomfield, PA; and a multitude of friends, including “his person” Chrissi Morrisson and her children, Allie and Owen of York. Tanner was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean & Doris Miller, and Patricia Mulhollem.
All are invited to attend the visitation at 10:00 AM and Tanner’s service at 11:30 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Burial will immediately follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Tanner’s Tribute Service will be webcast on his obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to a charity of your choosing. Tanner was a dog lover, and although he’d never admit it, children loved him.
