Joshau S. Laury

DOVER- Joshua S. “Josh” Laury, 35, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at York Hospital. Josh was born in Roanoke, VA on April 17, 1986, the son of Michael S. and Donna (Buckner) Laury of Rocky Mount, VA. He was currently working as a computer technician at Capital Area Communications in Harrisburg. Josh was a member of the Starfleet Club, where he was a Starfleet Captain for the charity. He was a 2004 graduate of Dallastown High School and in 2006 received his Associates Degree from YTI. Along with his parents, Josh leaves two brothers Jeremy Laury and his wife Melissa of York Haven and Jacob Laury of Rocky Mount, VA; a niece Emma and a nephew Christopher, his grandmother, Barbara Buckner; three aunts, Lisa Forbes and her husband Jamie, Lori Toler and her husband Michael, and Terri Hayes. He is also survived by cousins, Ryan Forbes and family, Raven Forbes, Scott and family, Lesley Cook Wright and family, Logan Cook and family; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, William Buckner, James Laury, grandmother, Kate Laury, great grandmother, Nobie Johnson and cousins Andy and Joey Hayes. Josh was “One of a kind”, loved by all and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace- till we meet again.
