Josephine "Jo" Napoli

YORK- Josephine “Jo” (Maiorano) Napoli, 84, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Napoli, Sr., to whom she was married 44 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, with Father Richard Owens officiating, with a viewing from 10-11 AM at the church. A public viewing will also be held from 6-9 PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Catholic Cemetery. Born August 11, 1932 on Staten Island, N.Y., Jo was a daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Madalone) Maiorano. She worked as an office manager for the family business, American Speed Center, since 1973. Mrs. Napoli was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Napoli leaves behind a son, Anthony J. Napoli, Jr. and his wife Kathy of York; two daughters, Mary Beth Napoli and her spouse Jill Eklof of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Lori Ann Napoli of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Angela Marie Goetz, Anthony James Napoli, and Michael Emilio Napoli; five great grandchildren, and a sister, Isabelle Carbonella of Staten Island, N.Y. Along with her husband and parents, Jo was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Charles, and Peter Maiorano.
