Joseph Rinaldi, Jr.

YORK- Joseph Rinaldi, Jr., 77, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Mary L. (West) Rinaldi, to whom he was married to for over 55 years. The couple wed on October 19, 1957. Services for Mr. Rinaldi are private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Red Lion, PA is in charge of arrangements. Born on December 10, 1935 in Port Deposit, MD, he was a son of the late Joseph and Antonette (Novella) Rinaldi, Sr. Joseph owned and operated Joe’s Market in Port Deposit for many years. He later worked security for Wiley’s Manufacturing and also worked for Winn Dixie. Mr. Rinaldi enjoyed working with his hands. He painted and even built his own house. Joseph loved listening to country music and watching NASCAR. Along with his wife, Mary, Joseph is survived by three daughters, Debra L. Hagan and her husband, Stephen of York, Kathy A. LeBrun and her husband, David of Melbourne, FL and Carol J. Cleaver and her husband, James of York; five grandchildren, Erica, David Jr., Ashley, Jeremy and Stephen Jr.; six great grandchildren, Kade, Bryce, Isabella, Sage, Gavin and Riley Kate; one sister, Mary Cunningham of Havre De Grace, MD; and two nephews, Frank Rinaldi, Jr. and his wife, Denny and Frank Cunningham and his wife, Carman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Rinaldi, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter, 3678 Aldinger Rd., Seven Valleys, PA 17360 or a SPCA of your choice.
