Lock Haven - Joseph R. Herman, Jr., 67 passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Williamsport Hospital where he was a patient since November 8, 2007. He was born February 25, 1940 in Lock Port the son of the late Joseph R. & Frances E. (Embick) Herman, Sr. He was married to the former Mary M. Bartley on April 4, 1960. Mr. Herman retired from Corning Glassware due to ill health in 1999. He enjoyed hunting & fishing and was avid coin and stamp collector. Surviving are his loving wife: Four sons Joseph R. Herman,III of Austin, TX, Dwayne A. Herman and Neill S. (Betty) Herman both of Carrollton, TX, Robert E. (Laureen) of Waxahachie, TX Two daughters Jacquie A. (Russell) Book of Spokane, WA and Deborah K. (Joseph) Watkins, Sr., of Lock Haven. 15 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren One sister Becky (Robert) Zerbe of Lockport One brother Randy (Karen) Herman of Lockport He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers John and Jerry. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Dunnstown Cemetery.
