Joseph Mcmichael Trainor

MT. WOLF- Joseph McMichael “Muff” Trainor, Jr., 70, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 5-6:30 p.m. The family invites everyone to dress casually or in their biker wear for the service. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service.

Muff was born in York on March 10, 1952, the son of the late Joseph M. and Emma C. (Trimmer) Trainor. He retired from Quigley Motor Company in Manchester in 2013.

Muff was a life member of ABATE and a member of the Wago Club. He was an avid motorcycle rider, and enjoyed fishing, camping, canoeing as well as the outdoors in general.

He leaves three daughters, Kelli Bain and her companion Jay Baum, Jami Layton, and Krista Robinson; a son, Tyler Klunk; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother Tom and his wife Carol; a sister, Cindy Markle; as well as his many biker brothers.
