Joseph L. 'Joe' Embick

RENOVO - Joseph L. “Joe” Embick, 53, died on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Joseph was born in Lock Haven on June 18, 1959 and was the son of Paul Embick of Renovo and the late Christanna (Hanley) Peters. He was a veteran of the US Army. He had delivered newspapers for the Lock Haven Express. Joseph enjoyed shooting darts, hunting, fishing, Steelers football and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his father, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Chad M. and Amy Embick of Renovo, one daughter and son-in-law; Brenda S. and Lloyd Bechdel of Mill Hall, seven grandchildren, three brothers and one sister-in-law; Jerry Embick of Avis, Ronnie Embick of Lock Haven and Jonathan and Donna Embick of Grovetown, GA, nieces, nephews and two special nieces; Holly Reick and April Embick. There will be a public viewing 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the funeral service starting at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
