MILL HALL - Joseph J. Rozgay, Jr., age 77, passed away at Lock Haven Hospital on Sunday, April 4, 2010. He was born in Bellefonte on January 15, 1933, son of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Mary L. (Kucas) Rozgay. Joseph was a graduate of Bellefonte High School and worked as a construction inspector for PennDOT for over 25 years. He served in the Navy during the Korean War, was a former member of the American Legion, and loved music and automobile rides. He and his wife owned and operated "Rooney's Café’ in Renovo for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife: Lucretia (Frantz) Rozgay, whom he married in Phillipsburg on Nov. 16, 1956. Also surviving is his son: Joseph J. Rozgay III of Lock Haven, daughters: Desiree Malizia of Mill Hall and Celeste Pagnotto of Lock Haven, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters: Sarah Miller of Bellefonte, Catherine Williams of Mingoville, Barbara Charnick of Port Matilda, and numerous nieces and nephews. One sister, Antoinette, preceded him in death. Friends and relatives will be received at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall on Wednesday, April 7, from 6-8 P.M. for a time of fellowship. Private family interment services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery at the family's convenience. Memorials are requested to the S.P.C.A. or the Clinton Co. Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
