Joseph F. Renehan

YORK - Joseph F. Renehan, 79, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Armande E. (DuPont) Renehan. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Holy Trinity Charismatic Episcopal Church, 2285 Plank Rd., Stewartstown with his rector, Rev. Michael R. Brecht officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 15, 1929 in Ellicott City, MD a son of the late Elmer and Lula (Day) Renehan, he retired from Carroll Co. Health Department. He was a member of Holy Trinity Charismatic Episcopal Church and enjoyed gardening. Mr. Renehan was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife, Mr. Renehan is survived by two sons, P. James Renehan of Dallastown and Joseph F. Renehan, Jr. and wife Kim of Carroll Co.; two daughters, Kathy and husband Jon Robinette of Glen Burnie, MD and Patti and husband Scott Paddy of Carroll Co.; and nine grandchildren.
