Joseph E. Zoller

MANCHESTER- Joseph E. Zoller, 71, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Pleasant Acres. He was the husband of Dolores H. (Hovanec) Zoller. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Manchester Union Cemetery with Reverend William C. Forrey officiating and full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on September 24, 1947 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine Zoller. Joseph was an Electrical Engineer Technician. Mr. Zoller served our country in the United States Navy. He was an accomplished chess player, an active member of Holy Infant Catholic Church and a fourth-degree knight and member of the Knights of Columbus. Along with his wife, Dolores, Joseph is survived by two daughters, Michelle E. Madzelan and husband, Joseph of York and Cynthia M. Zoller of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, Emily and Carter; and sister, Shirley (Zoller) Lucas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Zoller.
