Joseph Charles Nesi

ETTERS – Joseph Charles Nesi, 76, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Betty M. (Baer) Nesi to with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 26th. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with Certified Celebrant Sam Piper officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery with Military Honors presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born November 22, 1944 in Scranton, the son of the late Joseph Z. and Alvira M. (Stanton) Nesi; he was a 1963 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. Mr. Nesi was a tool and die maker at Berg Electronics and its successor, DuPont where he retired after 26 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and boating, reloading ammunition and target shooting, vegetable gardening and woodworking. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife Betty, Mr. Nesi is survived by two daughters, Lora L. and husband Brian Rosenberger of Carlisle and Maria L. and husband Vince Coller of Carlisle; eight grandchildren, Cody, Zackery, Hunter, McKenna, Nathaniel, Bryce, Annalise and Jenna; two sisters-in-law, Sandra and husband Thomas Blodgett of Manchester and Evelyn Marshall of New Cumberland; and a brother-in-law, Raymond and wife Cindy Baer of Middletown.
