Joseph R. Carlisi, MD

YORK- Joseph R. Carlisi, MD, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Diane A. (Amos) Carlisi who died on November 11, 2018. The couple had been married for 32 years.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito officiating. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Born on September 9, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie Carlisi. Joseph received his undergraduate degree from NYU and graduated from medical school at Bologna University in Italy. He was dedicated to his career and the medical field was his passion. Joseph loved dogs and was a huge Civil War buff.

Joseph is survived by his son, Zachary J. Carlisi and his fiancé, Amber of York.
