Joseph C. Rexroth

Red Lion—Joseph C. Rexroth, 91, passed away peacefully at York Hospital, Thursday June 15, 2017. He was the husband of Phyllis A. (Grove) Rexroth to whom he was married for 67 years. Born September 1, 1925 in Red Lion, he was a son of the late Clinton and Margaret (Curran) Rexroth. Joe is survived by three children, Bonnie Snyder and husband, Jerry of Red Lion, Joseph Rexroth, Jr of Red Lion and Susan Odell and husband, Scott of Newtown Square; four grandchildren, Lisa Snyder Huber and husband, Brian of Middletown and Leslie Snyder Sechrist and husband, Chad of Red Lion, Rebecca Odell and Tyler Odell both of Newtown Square; two great grandchildren, Braelan Huber and Addison Huber of Middletown and one sister, Evelyn Fiorelli of Virginia. A United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, Joe was also a 1943 graduate of Red Lion High School and a long standing member of the F&AM Red Lion Lodge #649, Red Lion BPOE #1592 and the American Legion Post #543. Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Joseph C. Rexroth to the Red Lion BPOE (Elks), 323 W. Broadway, Red Lion, Pa 17356. A service will be private at the convenience of the family.
