Joseph C. Lanzendorfer

Joseph C. Lanzendorfer POTTSVILLE-Joseph C. Lanzandorfer, 76, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday morning at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. Born in Reading on October 29, 1930, he was the son of the late Carl and Pauline Reidinger Lanzendorfer. He was a 1948 Graduate of Reading High School. He was retired from Met Ed Electric Company, Reading, where he worked as a computer programmer. He was a member of the VFW, Myerstown, Hillsiders of Reading, and the Oaks Hunting Club, Blackwell, PA. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his son Dale Meyer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty L. Perrot Lanzendorfer, Pottsville; two daughters, Pattie Mohl, wife of John, of Pottsville and Sandy Ungerer, of Schuylkill Haven; two sons, Robert Strausser, husband of Olympia, of Grantville, PA and Kevin Meyer, husband of Brenda, Wellsboro, PA; his twin sisters, Jean Pepe, of Three Bridges, NJ and Betty Law, wife of Lewis, of Temple, Pa; 15 Grandchildren, Robert Strausser, Jr., Bobbi Jo Cooper, Jennifer Verhagen, John, Mistie and Brandon Mohl, Jason Meyer, Shannon Newell, Bill, Joe and Randy Renninger, Cheyenne Hon, and Marc, Thomas and Richard Meyer; several nieces and nephews.
