Joseph A. Noll

YORK--Joseph A. Noll, 87, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy Ann (Ruby) Noll to whom he was married for 67 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held at 11AM, Monday February 28, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Betty Frey. A visitation will be held from 10-11AM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Suburban Memorial Gardens following the service. Born April 30, 1934 in York, he was a son of the late Joseph D. and Susanna (Runkle) Noll. He was employed with Harley-Davidson Inc. for 32 years, where he held several job titles before retiring in 1996 as Director of Operations. A long-time avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling, watching Penn State football and wrestling, and was a fervent reader. He and his wife loved traveling; together, they visited sites and locations all across the world. In addition to his wife, Mr. Noll is also survived by five sons, Dr. Jon E. Noll and wife, Cheryl, of Duncannon, Mark T. Noll of Simpsonville, SC, David M. Noll and wife, Barbara, of York, Douglas J. Noll and wife, Susan, of York and Thomas E. Noll and wife, Cindy, of Plymouth, NY; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren (with one expected any day), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Arnsberger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cornea Research Foundation of America, 9002 N.
