Josef N. Lukas

Dover – Josef N. Lukas, 61, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Cathleen E. (Day) Lukas, to whom he was married to for 34 years. Born on July 26, 1959 in York, he was the son of the late Josef and Barbara (Hehn) Lukas. He graduated from York County School of Technology in 1978. He was the owner-operator of Auto Glass Solutions LLC where he had a reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Throughout his life, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, canoeing, airbrushing, riding motorcycles, and working on cars. Joe is survived by a son, Nicholas Lukas; two daughters, Meagan Johnson and husband, Chad and Gretchen Galbraith and husband, Preston; five grandchildren, Drystan, Sophia, Brayden, Willow, and Winter; two sisters, Ann Miller and husband, Richard and Irene Clifford and husband, Bill and many nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. He is preceded in death by a son, Josef N. Lukas, Jr. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road, York.
