John P. Grishka

TROY- John P. Grishka, Age 91 of Ritz Road, Mansfield, PA passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Troy Community Hospital. John was born June 24, 1917 in Pittston. PA. He owned and operated his family Deli with his late wife for many years. He was a member of Holy Child Church in Mansfield and enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Survivors include his sons, John "Jack" M. and Denise Grishka of Ulster, PA, Jerry J. Grishka of Kingston, PA, a daughter, Judy M. and Dennis Serina of Wilmington, DE, three grandchildren, Meredith, Kyle and Rhonda, nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his parents and his loving wife Jeanne I. (Pazneckus) Grishka who passed away on March 18, 2009. Family and friends are invited his Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 23, 2009 at St. John's Catholic Church, Exchange & High Streets Troy, PA with Father Alfhones Perikala officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr, Inc. Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA is handling arrangements.
