John M. Judson

Troy, Pennsylvania John M. Judson, Age 58 of Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 at home. A Celebration of Life Service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Columbia Cross Roads Methodist Church. John was born February 22, 1950 in Troy, PA son of the late LaRue "Red" and Isabelle Passmore Judson. He was employed in the Maintenance Department at the Northern Tier Career Center. Formerly John operated the Recreation Center in Troy for many years. John cared about his community and to say the least John was an avid "fanatic" sports fan, he could always be seen cheering the Troy Trojans on in all sports. His many joys in life were the outdoors and especially hunting, raising his beef cattle and meeting at the Gulf Station in Columbia Cross Roads for the "Town Board Meetings". He was a past member of the Pine Lodge. Survivors include his son, Steven Burchard of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, two brothers, Mike Judson of Wellsburg, NY and Tom Judson of Newark Valley, NY and a lifetime of friends. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Nancy Richter, and two brothers, Phillip "Flip" Judson and Pat Judson. Arrangements are under the direction of the Gerald W.
