John H. Reeser

Troy, PA John H. Reeser, Age 96 formerly of Gillett, PA passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Bradford County Manor, West Burlington, PA. Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 3 PM Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Interment will be held when weather permits in State Road Cemetery, Sullivan Township, PA. The family will provide their own flowers. John was born on August 7, 1912 in Berrytown, PA son of the late Ernest and Mattie (Harkness) Reeser. He married the former Hilda Grace who survives. John retired in 1977 from Kennedy Valve in Elmira, NY where he was employed as a machinist. He enjoyed retirement and spent his time fishing, hunting and working in his garden. Survivors include his loving wife Hilda Reeser of West Burlington, PA, a daughter and son-in-law, Donna & James Boyden of Mainsburg, PA son and daughter-in-law, Roger & Madge Reeser of New Market, NH, seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. John was predeceased by a brother Carl Reeser, sisters, Gladious Reeser, Louise Reeser, Genevieve Young and Martha Durham. Send condolences to BestLifeTributes.com
